Friday funnies: Talking to Doctor receptionist's!

This is so true!  friday funnies:Talking to Doctor Receptionist!

 They always ask at the doctor's office why you are there, and you have to answer in front of others what's wrong  and sometimes it is embarrassing.

There's nothing worse than a Doctor's Receptionist who insists
 you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients.

I
 know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this old guy handled it.

A 65-year-old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the desk.

The Receptionist said, 'Yes sir, what are you seeing the
 Doctor for today?

'There's something wrong with my dick', he replied.

The receptionist became irritated and said, 'You shouldn't
 come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that. '

'Why not, you asked me what was wrong and I told you,' he said.

The Receptionist replied; 'Now you've caused some embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is
 something wrong with your ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in private.'

The man replied, 'You shouldn't ask people questions in a roomful of strangers, if the answer could embarrass anyone. The man walked out, waited several minutes, and then re-entered.

The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, 'Yes?'

'There's something wrong with my ear,' he stated.

The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice.. 'And what is wrong with your ear, Sir?'

'I can't piss out of it,
' he replied.

The waiting room erupted in laughter...

Mess with seniors and you're going to LOSE!

Phila Pa 19114 Blizzard 2010 Hits the East Coast "Video"

Blizzard Hits Philadelphia Pa .This is the most snow that Philadelphia Pa 2010 has ever had in it's history. It has closed the entire city except for emergency workers.The last snow we had 27" which started on Friday night and ended late Saturday afternoon.

This storm which is called a blizzard started about 7:30 Tuesday evening.It gave us a short break and started up again .. Very dangerous conditions even snow plows had accidents.They closed major highway and interstate highways.Even the Pa Turnpike.They interrupted TV programs with emergency alert to tell everyone to stay off the roads ..All Schools and businesses and City governments will be closed again on Thursday to try to clear the dangerous  icy road conditions.

I took this short "video" In Delaire Landing Phila Pa 19114 a private community.We pay for our own snow removal.It is not supplied by the city. As you will see in the "video" although people were told to stay off the roads There were still cars driving. Weather is now predicting more snow Monday evening. Sure hope they are wrong.

Phila Pa 19114 Delaire Landing Snow Storm

Philadelphia Pa and the Eastern Atlantic States had a snow storm.We were very well prepared and it was handled
extremely well
.The roads were cleared  rather quickly .Thankfully most people stayed in their homes.

Where I live in Delaire Landing condominiums in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa 19114 the clean up was fantastic. I came outside all prepared to shovel my car out .When I came outside the day after the storm.I was amazed. You would have not dreamed that it had snowed 3" a hour for almost a day .That we had approx  27"  of snow . The snow removal was fantastic..

Monday morning will be easy for everyone to get to work.When you have people working hard to get the streets  cleaned so the city can function.It is so nice to live  in a community like  Torresdale Phila Pa 19114 and a development like Delaire Landing where our condo association works so hard to see that our snow is removed and cleaned away so quickly.

The weather is predicting another storm heading our way on Tuesday .Let's hope it passes us over..

Friday Funnies:SEXX and the Computer

Friday funnies: What Sex is your ComputerA SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

Friday funnies: What Sex is your Computer'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.'
'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.'

A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?'

Friday funnies: What Sex is your Computer
Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two
groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the feminine gender ('la computadora'), because:

1.. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2 The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; and

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself

spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.

(THIS GETS BETTER!)

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ('el computador'), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model..

Friday funnies: What Sex is your Computer
The women won.

HelpfulHannahs Helpful Links !Help is out there!

HelpfulHannahs helpful links! help is out there!Reading how unemployment is on the rise I worry about the folks who don't know where to turn for assistance. I was in the local bank yesterday where an older woman had over drawn her checking account and had a great amount of over draft fees on her account and wanted to make payment arrangements with the bank to pay them back. There are many good hard working people out of work with not enough money to eat or pay their utility bills.Here are a few sites to help some people until they are able to get back on there feet.I hope you can pass one of these sites to someone who may find these sites helpful. Make that call if you need Help!

Want to Get the $8,000 Tax Credit? . . There are 87 Days left to get a Home under Contract

Time is running out on the $8000 Tax Credit!!  87 Days left

Let HelpfulHannah Help You Find That Home!

Via Ed Silva CDPE, GRI, ABR, Real Estate Agent (RE/MAX PARTNERS, LLC):

There are only 87 Days left to get a home under contract in order to qualify for the First Time Homebuyer's Tax credit and the expanded $6,500 for Move-up buyers.

Last December, the First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit was extended and expanded.  Previously, the First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit was only available for first time home buyers (those buyers who had not owned a home in the three years previous to the current purchase) and was only available on homes that closed escrow before December 1, 2009.

However, President Obama signed an extension on this deadline to apply to any homes purchased from November 6, 2009 to May 1, 2010 and allowed all homes that have a binding sales contract signed by April 30, 2010 to qualify for the up to $8000 tax credit (based on purchase price of home), not just those homes that closed escrow.  In addition to the extension, existing homeowners may be eligible for up to a $6500 tax credit providing that they have used their current home as their primary residence for at least five consecutive years of the last eight years, meet the income requirements and are purchasing a new primary residence.  Vacation homes and income properties don't apply.

Requirements and Limits:

1.      First time homebuyers who haven't owned a primary residence in the last three years.  Existing homeowners who have used their current home as their primary residence for at least five consecutive years of the last eight years.

2.      For single or head-of-household tax filers, the limit for their modified adjusted gross income is less than $125,000.  For married couples who file a joint return, the limit is less than $225,000.

3.      For consideration of partial tax credit, single or head-of-household tax filers can earn between $125,000-$145,000.  Married couples filing jointly who make between $225,000-$245,000 may also be eligible for a partial tax credit.

4.      Purchase price of home must be less than $800,000 to qualify and must be the home buyer's primary residence.

5.      Tax credit is considered refundable, meaning that if you owe less than the credit amount you qualify for, you will receive a tax refund for the difference of what you owe and the tax credit you are eligible for.  For example, if you are eligible for the full $8000 refund and you owe $5000 in taxes, you will receive a refund check for $3000 ($8000 tax credit minus the $5000 you owe).

6.      You must make the home you purchased your primary residence for three consecutive years to keep the entire tax credit.  If you sell the property or stop using it as your primary residence within three years of purchase, you will have to repay the tax credit back to the government.

Remember that the amount of tax credit you are eligible for depends on the purchase price of the home.  So, the tax credit you actually receive may be less than the limit.  Also, the tax credit is only available on homes used for the home buyers' primary residence, not to any income or vacation property.

Whether looking to buy or sell, we service the Greater Waterbury towns of Beacon Falls, Bethany, Cheshire, Naugatuck, Middlebury, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown and Wolcott

Looking for Homes Parents and Children in Bucks County

Looking for homes with parents and their children can be fun ;but the the children become bored and tired.They have their playtime and sleep times interrupted.It becomes a strain on the children,the parents,and yes the Real Estate Agent.

The weather here has been very cold.The children are bundled up , fasten into their car seats, then out again when we view  each house. It is not only difficult for the parents who are anxious to find the right home for their family;but it is also difficult to keep their children focused.I must say these children were very well behaved.

The Children were as excited as the parents ;but  they do get tired a bit more quickly. I decided to try using my flip video in the car and take a video of one of the children. The children loved it and I will make it a regular flick...I have sent it to the parents..it was a hit! I thought I would share it ..
