 Delaire Landing Count Down To Labor DayWeekend.It looks like a weekend here by the pool. Everyone is counting the days to Labor Day and the inevitable closing of the pool.

 

 Sounds like we may have good news the Master Council has voted to an extra weekend of Sun and Fun by the pool. The residents are hoping that the weather will permit this extra time to enjoy the pool and our friends ....Delaire Landing residents countdown to Labor Day Weekend has begun!

 

It seems like summer has just started and now we are beginning the countdown to Labor Day Weekend and the closing of the pool..It was a Fantastic Summer at Delaire Landing!

Wordless Wednesday: Bakers Bay Poolside on a cloudy day the chairs are deserted the umbrella's are down. There are people playing tennis and  fall is in the air .The rain clouds are hanging heavy above in the sky. I was driving in Bakers Bay Condominiums to list a lovely Garden unit for sale and I could not resist taking this picture for Wordless Wednesday .I guess It is not so wordless.

After the eighty-three year old lady finished her annual physical
examination, the doctor said, 

"You are in fine shape for your age, Mrs. Mallory, but tell me, do you
still have intercourse?"  

"Just a minute, I'll have to ask my husband," she said..

She stepped out into the crowded reception room and yelled out loud:Friday funnies:Intercourse at 83

"Henry, do we still have intercourse?" And there was a hush . 

You could hear a pin drop. 
Henry answered impatiently, "If I told you once, Irma, I told you a hundred times...

Wordless Wednesday:Temperatures Rising at Delaire Landing the pool was almost empty today.The temperature was in the high high 90's and very humid.The air quality was poor.Even the water was warm.As soon as you got out of the water you needed to go back in.Usually all the umberella's at Delaire Landing by the pool are up and the pool is full of residents; but temperatures are rising near 100 degree's hot and humid Wordless Wednesday is a not so wordless today.

Search for Delaire Landing Real Estate Agent.This search lead this Delaire Landing Condo seller to me . When speaking on the phone we hit it off right away .Sadly her mother had passed away . She had purchased the unit for her mother 4 years ago . I had met her mother what a dear  wonderful woman .

The Delaire Landing seller was a very intelligent woman ,but emotional about selling the unit as it was not worth what she paid for it when purchased 4 years prior.This is something we are all facing in the market place today . Searching ,finding the right agent, and developing trust was the key factor here.

This Delaire Landing Condo was a beautiful unit very well maintained and upgraded with a fantastic location. We found a buyer immediately.

An 86-year-old man went to his doctor for his quarterly checkup...

The doctor asked him how he was feeling, and the
86-year-old said ,'Things are great and I've never felt better.'
I now have a 20 yr-old bride who is pregnant with my child.
'So what do you think about that Doc ?'

The doctor considered his question for a minute and
Then began to tell a story.
'I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter
And never misses a season.'




One day he was setting off to go hunting.

In a bit of a hurry, he accidentally picked up his walking cane
Instead of his gun.'

'As he neared a lake, he came across a very large male beaver
Sitting at the water's edge.




 He realized he'd left his gun at home and so he couldn't shoot
The magnificent creature. Out of habit he raised his cane, aimed
It at the animal as if it were his favorite hunting rifle, and went
'bang, bang'.,'

'Miraculously, two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead.

Now, what do you think of that ?' asked the doctor.

The 86-year-old said,
'Logic would strongly suggest that somebody else   lol friday doctor and 86 year old man
Pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver.'

The doctor replied, 'My point exactly.'

Delaire Landing Condo residents Beat the heat! Temperatures hit the 100 degree mark on the East Coast. What better way to get a break from the high temperature then taking a swim. Delaire Landing Condominium offers two wonderful swimming pools that overlook the Delawere river. It is always cooler down by the river.
