The other day when I left the office I went shopping . I saw an agent I had worked with at another Re/Max office for many years . I said hello and she looked up pleasantly surprised . We hugged and exchanged pleasantries . Then we talked business . We talked about how some agents never meet their clients and discussed what they should and should not do .

She told me she had a settlement where an agent had not discussed these things with the buyer , He had decided to quit his job day of settlement and get a new job for more money . Well the mortgage company called his work to verify his employment . No longer employed ? Well no mortgage .

Perhaps we are old school she said . We both agreed we like to meet with our clients and explain the process of buying a house in person . What to do and not to do . Yes modern technology has made things easy and in some scenarios everything maybe done online . That is besides seeing the houses .We both agreed there is nothing like that personal touch .
