Delaire Landing is located in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa 19114.It is a Gated Condominium association with 24 hour security. It is a picturesque waterfront  community built along the Delaware River. Also one of my favorite places to take pictures .Here are some pictures I found to be beautiful. They just how mother nature knows when her clock is changing. It is the first and the last day of autumn...We had 22" snow.

 

To Maintain a Healthy Level of Insanity

       

1. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses

on and point a hair dryer at passing cars.

See if they slow down.



2. On all your check stubs, write 'For Marijuana'.



3. Skip down the street rather than walk and see how many looks you get.


4. Order diet water whenever you go out to eat, with a serious face.


5. Sing along at the opera.


6. When the money comes out of the ATM, scream “I Won! I Won!”.


7. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot yelling “Run for your lives! They're loose!”.



8. Tell your children over dinner, “Due to the economy, we are going to have to let one of you go.”

And The Final Way To Keep A Healthy Level Of Insanity:


9. Pick up a box of condoms at the pharmacy, go to the counter and ask where the fitting room is.

Four Jewish ladies were sitting around playing Cards

 The first
         lady says, "You know girls, I have known you

  Second of the other ladies
         says, "Well, since we are having true
 confessions, I am a nymphomaniac,

 husbands, and never will,
         they don't interest me. We have been friends

 "Well", says the third lady, "I too must
 confess. The
         reason I never married is that I am a lesbian, but
 don't worry. I will
       never hit on any of you. We have been friends for
 too long, and I don't
       want to ruin our friendship."
 The fourth lady stands up
         and says, "I have a confession to make also. I
 am a yenta, so please
         excuse me, I have a lot of calls to
         make.

Here is a preview of a new "video" DVD"Public Enemies" just out this week.

I am home with a cold and I must say I really did enjoy this movie DVD "video" .

I rented it at my favorite Red Box for $.99  It was well worth the price :

Christmas Letter

There was a man who worked for the Post Office whose job was to
process all the mail that had illegible addresses.

One day, a letter came addressed in a shaky and writing to God with an actual address. He thought he should open it to see what it was about.
The letter read:

Dear God,

I am an 83 year old widow, living on a very small pension.

Yesterday someone stole my purse.

It had $100 in it, which was all the money I had until my next pension payment. Next Sunday is Christmas, and I had invited two of my friends over for dinner. Without that money, I have nothing to buy food with, have no family to turn to, and you are my only hope. Can you please help me?

The postal worker was touched. 

He showed the letter to all the other workers.

Each one dug into his or her wallet and came up
with a few dollars. By the time he made the rounds, he had collected
$96, which they put into an envelope and sent to the woman.
The rest of the day, all the workers felt a warm glow thinking of
Edna and the dinner she would be able to share with her
friends.

Christmas came and went.

A few days later, another letter came from the same old lady to God.

All the workers gathered around while the letter was opened. It read:
Dear God,

How can I ever thank you enough for what you did for me?

Because of your gift of love, I was able to fix a glorious dinner for my friends.

We had a very nice day and I told my friends of your wonderful gift.

By the way, there was $4 missing.

I think it might have been those bastards at the post office.

 Today was a rainy day in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia that turned into the first snow day.I could not resist  grabbing my camera and taking a picture of the first snow. When I came back in I realized  I really had not captured the beauty of the first snow. So I went out on my balcony with my flip "video" and captured the huge snowflakes falling down. I live in Delaire Landing Condominiums in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa.I am also a resident Real Estate agent in the development. I have been Listing and selling Real Estate for over 25 years..I hope you enjoy this short Flip "video" of the first snow flakes of December.
