 Sounds like we may have good news the Master Council has voted to an extra weekend of Sun and Fun by the pool. The residents are hoping that the weather will permit this extra time to enjoy the pool and our friends ....Delaire Landing residents countdown to Labor Day Weekend has begun!

 

It seems like summer has just started and now we are beginning the countdown to Labor Day Weekend and the closing of the pool..It was a Fantastic Summer at Delaire Landing!

Delaire Landing Free Hot Dog Day is a tradition. Delaire Landing  residents gather every year for Free hot day.It takes place Sunday during Memorial Day Weekend inside the recreation center .Tickets are given to the Delaire Landing residents when they renew their cards for the the upcoming pool season.

The  Free Hot Dogs are cooked by volunteers in the community of Delaire Landing.They give their time freely and with a big smile. How lucky we are to have such wonderful neighbors to feed us these yummy free hot dogs that taste extra special on a hot holiday weekend.

Sometimes we forget to say THANK YOU ! This post is to all the folks at Delaire Landing who worked so hard to make this day terrific. Delaire Landing had another traditional Free Hot Dog Day because of you!..thank you!

Phila. Pa. 19136  celebrates 40th Birthday Party at Guido's for Craig.It was a wonderful Gala filled with wonderful food,friends,dancing and fun.His girlfriend Dominica had planned this party for several months and it was a complete surprise..It is so hard to keep secrets especially from one of your closest and dearest friend.The secret was kept and there was over 85 people who came from all over the Philadelphia and surrounding area to Guido's located in the 19136 zip code on Welsh rd. in Phila. Pa .Everyone was there to celebrate our great friend's Craig's 40th Birthday..Here are a few "Video" clips of the fun...

Delaire Landing Condominiums is located in the 19114 zip-code in the Torredale section of Philadelphia Pa.The Grounds here are perfectly manicured by professional landscapers.There are a variety of beautiful trees,bushes,and flowers,to be maintained.With every change of season the flowers are replaced around most of the sections to reflect the seasons. The sections such as the Gardens plant their own flowers but do have the landscapers maintain the area.It is quite a lovely place..Don't be surprised if late at night you see a raccoon or an another park like animal..but don't worry ..they are just occasional visitors..they are not residents.

It is clean and friendly atmosphere.They give you hardy helpings and you will not walk away hungry! You order what you want find a table and they call your name when it is ready.

 

    

 

 

 

There is a steady stream of people but everything moves quickly.The food is finger licking good.The cornbread was excellent with small kernels of corn inside.Some of us couldn't finish our meals and had to bring it home.

Delaire Landing Condominiums Gardens view in Phila Pa 19114 in October.These gardens since being restored in the spring of 2009 have been changed by and paid for by residents seasonally. It is a lovely garden that is enjoyed by most of the residents .For more information about Delaire Landing or surrounding areas please feel free to contact me.

Delaire Landing condominiums located in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa 19114 is a gated community.It consists of many individual condo associations that form one Master association. Each individual association has their own rules & regulation and also abides by the Master Council rules and regulations.

Delaire Landing Condo #1 is an individual association within  Delaire Landing Condo Community.Condo #1 is a small association and also the original sample condominiums built. Condo #1 is called the Gardens. Last year a picnic was planned to welcome new residents and to celebrate the beginning of fall.It was a great success. All residents attending brought a dish,dessert, beverage , or something that was needed for the function.It was called "Meet and Greet". It was held in the courtyard between buildings#3 -#5. A committee was formed and they did a fantastic job.

Delaire Landing Condo #1 decided to hold their "Meet and Greet" to welcome new residents this year. It was a Potluck event everyone was asked to contribute. A social committee was formed members of this committee were:

Special thanks to these ladies for all their hard work in making this a very special day for everyone!
