Make Sure Your July 4th Festivities Are Pet Friendly {Tips To Keep Your Pets Safe)

Let's try to keep it a pet friendly  Holiday

Loud noise can sure scare your pets

happy dog We all love and care for them

We may not be at home

Even if we are at home animals

become extemly frightened

Suddenly  there are crashing sounds

and flashing lights  this frightens them

Here are some helpful tips

For many, an extended July 4th holiday weekend is about to start so don't forget to keep your pets safe in the coming days. Did you know more pets get lost on July 4th than any other day of the year? Dogs (and cats) are frightened by fireworks, explosions and loud noises and try to run away to safety. Many then can't seem to find their way home. So keep it a "pet-friendly" holiday and just in case one of your four-legged family members does run away, make sure they all have easy to spot identification on them.

Below is a great infographic from Petfinder.com with eight great (and easy) tips on how to keep your pets safe during the July 4th celebrations this coming weekend and week. Your pets will appreciate your taking a little bit of extra time to make sure they are safe and secure and away from as much noise as possible. And won't you be happy not to lose any loved pets?
