Happy Facebook Friday Everyone

I am going to talk about Facebook ads again this week. These ads are called boosts  I did notice there is a social network group in my area maybe 35 minutes from where I am located. They said don't waste your money on ads meet up with us and learn how to use Facebook. They look like a great group but where their meet up is really inconvenient for me. The time they meet is rush hour in a part of the City that would be really difficult for me to get to. The train would be an option, but I am not a good traveler. To be honest, I have had great luck with Facebook Ads also called Boosts.  I do not think it is a waste of money 

 

You may ask what do I mean luck. By luck I mean people have followed my page and long-time friends and clients have found me which have led to sales and mostly listings which have turned into sales. For example, if you watched the short video at the top of the page I suggested the new Facebook ad with video. You can write an ad. After writing the ad you can add ten pictures that will be turned into a video. There are other formats but I like this one . The carousel also makes a very nice video.

 

 

I like to write a story and tell about how my day went instead of just saying hey I sold a house - I want to let them know I am human just like them. Then I made the video. Believe me, it was nothing spectacular - but the ad was made just for my local area for $20  normally if it was just a post, not an ad it would be seen by maybe 40 people if I was lucky 

 

Here are the statistics for the ad boost for one day it is going to run for 7 days: 

people reached 1,447  engagements 23   

Video boosted reached  1.4 K   Played thru 441   6 more days playtime 

This is not including how many people followed my page from the ad 

 

I am very happy with that kind of local exposure. I also have followed up with  Just Sold Post Cards in the local area. My friend Barbara Todaro would be proud of me. The other point is everyone who makes a comment or likes I personally invite to my Facebook Business Page. Try out these ads they are not expensive and may bring you success Oh, by the way, I believe this also goes mobile with the option to go on Instagram

 

 I am Old school I remember placing ads in the local newspapers for much more money than twenty dollars. I would get called into the broker's office asking what was I doing spending so much money. Facebook advertising is so reasonable compared to what newspaper ads cost and there is a huge market out there on Facebook  

 

Keep your page interesting. Not just Real Estate. Back to School time will be here soon. Information on where the local sales are is great. Fun places to eat and especially great recipes. I try to keep my Facebook Business Page Local.  I also try to talk and not throw facts at the readers that they can find anywhere. They know when you are coping and pasting information. I also share my Active Rain Friends posts that I find very informative on my Facebook Business Page. Hope you do not mind- you could find your post there.
