After a Saturday morning at the office I took a drive. There are beautiful tree lined roads in Torresdale the section of Phila. Pa. which boarders on Bensalem Bucks County.You don't even know you are out of the City of Phila.until you see "Welcome to Bensalem".You see all these historical signs.These were the country roads where our founding fathers traveled. They are paved city streets now . I wonder if they walked into town,traveled by horse, or maybe by boat..
There are a few of the original estates left along the Delaware River with signs that say "Private Property Do Not Enter".A few have been converted into Banquet facilities with breathtaking views of the Delaware river and the neighboring Jersey shores.. The one I turned into is Pen Ryn Mansion & Belle Voir Manor Here are some photo's I took hope you enjoy..
