How important is a Credit Check when Renting

 

How important is a Credit Check when trying to rent a property . I have a rental in a beautiful condo community . It amazes me how many times I have shown this property .The prospective tenant loves the property and immediately say's "I Will Take It ". Then I explain there is a fee for a credit check and criminal background check They then inform they are not sure how their credit is and have no objection on proceeding.

I am confused when I have received the credit checkshow important is a credit check back. They are horrid simply horrid . The prospective tenants must have an idea about their credit . How can you not know that you had an eviction a few years back or that your revolving credit card is in collection .

I understand that in today's economy people are have troubles;but you must know that you are having problems with your credit . It costs the prospective tenant money to have these credit checks done .Why waste your money and time if you know you are behind in payments , have judgments and collection accounts.

How do some landlords rent to tenants without running a credit check ? How important is a credit report ? What has been your experience in this situation with credit reports when renting ?

The "Three Stooges" are coming in 2012 says Helpfulhannah who knew Larry Fine from her childhood friend Joani Budnick .Joani's mom was Larry Fine's sister and he and Moe came to visit often. It was exciting to see how all the other children reacted ;but for us they were just regular guys They would watch TV with us and eat dinner . In March 2012 they are making a movie of the "Three Stooges". It is a new cast of course . This section is near Glen Foerd Mansion .After the Open House I passed this house. Alexis and I decided to check things out down at Linden ave in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa . There were many folks enjoying the beautiful weather ,boating,fishing,just sitting and relaxing in the shade .When Alexis saw that huge ship it kind of left her Speechless this Sunday on the waterfront .She did not expect to see such views of a big ship on the Delaware river in Philly Pa .

This section of waterfront condos was very lucky indeed not to have the Delaware River overflow onto the roads or into their communities .Here is a before and after picture of Hurricane Irene of 2011 .This is a week we will not soon forget .We had an Earthquake and a hurricane in one week .We were very lucky it leaves one rather Speechless this Sunday in the Torresdale section of Phila Pa 2011 .
