Did you know that Coca-cola sells more product overseas than in the united states?, Pepsi dominates the U. S. market. !
Very cool advertisement it looks like they kept this on up and looking good.....
That is a great advertisement. It has to be repainted though, doesn't it the red is so bright? I love the old ghostly painted signs that are barely still there sometimes too. Trying to read them and see if the business or product being advertised is still around. They don't make as pretty a picture though.
Hi Hannah—I enjoy exploring old towns and seeing what you can discover... this Coke sign on the building is wonderful. Thanks for a glimpse into the past... and thoughts of summer at the lake or on the beach... I'm so ready to be there. Thanks and have a great Wed.
Cameron....I didn't notice her feet ...but you are right ..they are!!
Terrific Hannah, I love the old building signs. Barbara Duncan did a post about 'Ghost Signs' one day. It was interesting to see all the old faded signs. Was this one painted to preserve it? Or do you know?
Debi
Hi Hannah,
Great shot of an American favorite...however, I prefer Pepsi!
: )
Zane.....I almost got in an accident stopped dead when I turned the corner and saw it..too cool! :0)
Maureen......Possibly it is rather cracked ..but you are probably right..looks like the late 1950's or early 1960 ad....:0)
Debi..I really don't know..I had an angry guy in SUV behind me because I stopped my car as I turned the corner ....I was so surprised to see this sign and had to take this photo..:0)
Tony.....I agree ..Give me a PEPSI or a Mountain Dew (diet of course) But what a classic Advertisement......I could n
ot resist...:0) Thanks
yes, I think I would rather have a glass of wine than a coke though! LOL. Nice picture. we have some of those old timey paintings on buildings here in Mooresville, NC too!
