Philadelphia Real Estate Helpful News and Views : Phila Pa 19114 Delaire Landing Snow Storm

Phila Pa 19114 Delaire Landing Snow Storm

Philadelphia Pa and the Eastern Atlantic States had a snow storm. We were very well prepared and it was handled
extremely well
.The roads were cleared  rather quickly .Thankfully most people stayed in their homes.

Where I live in Delaire Landing condominiums in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa 19114 the clean up was fantastic. I came outside all prepared to shovel my car out .When I came outside the day after the storm.I was amazed. You would have not dreamed that it had snowed 3" a hour for almost a day .That we had approx  27"  of snow . The snow removal was fantastic..

Monday morning will be easy for everyone to get to work. When you have people working hard to get the streets  cleaned so the city can function. It is so nice to live  in a community like  Torresdale Phila Pa 19114 and a development like Delaire Landing where our condo association works so hard to see that our snow is removed and cleaned away so quickly.

The weather is predicting another storm heading our way on Tuesday .Let's hope it passes us over..

You all back there are really getting it! We are having snow now, but only expected to get about 8-10 inces.

Hi Hannah - That's impressive how quickly the city had your streets cleared. Good thing it was on the weekend so people didn't have to worry about getting to and from work. Now how long will it take for all of that snow to melt?

Debi..I stayed in all weekend and relaxed ..it was wonderful...:0)

John..You are so right..most of the times it starts and people are at work and kids are at school..This started late Friday night and ended about 4 pm Saturday  ....They say there is another Snow storm coming on Tuesday evening so I am not sure it will melt so fast....

Hannah--What a great compliment to the snow plowers.  I am sure that they hear more than their share of complaints throughout the winter.  I love the sunshine in the day after pics, too. (Guess that is my positive side)  Wasn't it nice to just relax over the weekend?

Good Morning Debi,

I wanted to drop over to say hello. The weather this year promises to be be interesting, everywhere in the US. This is going to be a wet year and at least here in Southern California, it is most welcome. The more dreary weather though, through the rest of the country has been taxing and will continue to be a challenge. I wish I was as good at forecasting the real estate market, LOL. But no complaints as the year has started out very busy with lots of activity.

Mary..Yes it was nice to relax..The whole City was shut down ..Airport,Trains,Buses,in fact just about the whole transportation system...So that the roads could be cleared ...the Mayor told folks to stay home and watch a good movie .Guess what..I did ..:0)

William....Did you comment on the wrong post ...I did Post on the weather ...I was lucky enough to write an agreement of sale before storm and we are waiting for an answer ...  It is busy here but hard to maneuver even with 4 wheel drive vehicle.....
