Wordless Wednesday: Delaire Landing Spring Snow

wordless wednesday:delaire landing spring snow

Wordless Wednesday (not quite)Delaire Landing almost looks like they had a Spring Snow .The blossoms on the Cherry trees have fallen like the winter snow .They are much more beautiful and fragrant then snow would be and not as cold. They have left their lovely pink petals all around .You may hear a few sneezes..

Hannah, I would much rather see the beautiful pink petals on the ground then the snow.

A few weeks ago I tried to capture a photo of cherry blossom "snow" falling......by the time I could dig out my camera the wind quit blowing!

Beautifiul, Hannah. I always enjoyed the spring flowering trees back in New England, especially the cherry trees. It's different here - but we get lots of blooming trees, just at different times of the year.

Hannah, at first I thought it was lilacs... but then realized that it's too early for you to see those yet.

Here's what our black cherry looked like (been a couple weeks ago now).

Isn't spring wonderful?

Ann.....The weather here is very cool in the low 50's with high winds ..had to put the heat back on..Weather this weekend is predicted to be in high 80's

Jeff ..I love the Palm trees ..even without the flowers ..They take my breathe away ... and the West Coast

Lee and Pam..Actually we do have Lilacs blooming ..It was a small one by the river ..when I walked passed it the smell of it filled the air ..what a beautiful scent ...

Have a Great day !
