Memorial Day - Let Us Honor Them
Memorial Day is a solemn day we have set aside to remember the sacrifice paid by our dedicated men and women who have served our country with Pride and Valor. As we put out our Flags this weekend, remember that many have paid the ultimate price for our freedom and this gesture is to honor their memory and sacrifice. I offer this short video as a tribute to our heroes that gave it all!

Thanks for re-blogging this, Hannah. What a nice tribute and this video has gone from sea(west coast) to shining sea(east coast), thanks to you.
Hanna, Thanks for sharing. It seems to be a rare event anymore for Americans to remember (even the president isn't going to Arlington National Cemetery; how disgraceful!). All Americans should particularly remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, to preserve their freedom.
From a Veteran.
Hi Hannah, Thank you for re-posting this. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I tried to assemble something fitting for this most important day, made even more important by the activities around the world.
When you think that a body lies buried beneath each of the markers, a human life that believed that his/her duty was to sacrifice their life for the freedom enjoyed by others. How can we then do less than to honor their memory.
Lives cut so short , that their personal experiences that might have been, can not be. Parents, spouses and children get little more than a piece of metal and paper that said they existed. No fanfare, no parade, no life fully lived, no love to be reciprocated.
There can be no sacrifice greater, no statement of belief stronger than theirs. We owe them so much and can never repay the debt.
Memorial Day 2010, A Time to Remember.
Sincerely,
William
