Hannah, great title in concert with the fact that these beauties can take your breath away.  I like how they seem to all pop open at once.

Mums.  They are beautiful but I hate them!  To me they are the end of summer, which always makes me sad.  My neighbor laughs the first time she sees them because she says she thinks of me, who thinks they are beautiful harbingers of doom... ending my favorite season and ushering in fall, which is beautiful, but leads to winter.  :-)

Lou  they are a true sign of Fall on the East Coast  and are very beautiful and the come in a variety of different colors .

Susan I do understand your feeling of doom . Because soon the clocks will change .I have already noticed that it is getting dark earlier . I love Fall .I am not looking forward to the cold darkness of winter either .

Have a great Monday
