Bakers Bay Condo My Car and a Tow Truck

 bakers bay on rainy day

Today  I was meeting a client in Bakers Bay . We looked at a condo there was a light rain and it was a dreary day . I left the house without my phone . When I got to my car and put the keys in to start the car nothing happened . The radio was playing the Rolling Stones but the car was not turning over . Oh no it was not starting and I did not have my phone .

I never walk out without my phone  Quickly I caught me client before he pulled away and he kindly drove me to my house and then to the repair shop where I left my keys . They could not start it either it has to be towed .  Luckily I have towing on my insurance.

I am waiting to hear what the problem is . I am hoping it is only the starter or alternator .  Well  what a way to end May . I hope everyone else is having a better day . I know it could have been worse  I could have been stuck somewhere further away with more expensive towing fees  . Thankfully I also caught up with my client and am sitting safe and warm at home .

Just count you blessings you weren't stranded on the road with no phone!  Whenever I realize I've left mine at home, I'm nervous till I have it back in hand.   We feel safer, don't we?  More tethered.

Hannah you were lucky that your Buyer was able to give you a ride.  Hope it is a simple repair.

Hi Hannah Williams the worst part of your story is being without that phone.... that's like being in a gun fight with a butter knife.... your life is on the line!!!

Hannah sorry about your day going south - I get it!!  I finally gave up this morning and quit trying to make things happen with things that I could do nothing about. Several 'new' to us companies didn't show up on time one of our homes coming on the market and now we're way off schedule.  One still hasn't shown up and it's 3:30 my time - stagers coming Thursday so I sure hope we get it done tomorrow  Tomorrow will be better for both of us - I promise!!

Good morning Hannah.  After reading this my phone is on my mind.  Want to take a guess if I'll leave it at home again?  I know it is better than a 50/50 chance.

Love the image ... losing the horse is a big complication. Hitch hiking to showings, closings not an option that works well Hannah Williams !

Hi Hannah -- I really don't like car problems...hey...I'm not too fond of most problems.  It's good your client could help you, that you have tow coverage and that you are safe.   Here's to better days...

You know, if I catch myself leaving home without my phone, I'll turn around to get it, unless it's only to the corner grocery or some please really close by. You were lucky to have caught up with your client so you weren't stranded.

Having car that doesn't start can throw the day off track.
