Speechless Sunday : Taking Time to Smell the Roses

smell rose

This picture left me speechless. We do not think our pets appreciate the same things we do . It was apparent that Cleo my Cat was taking the time to smell the roses . It was easily perceived yes even understood ;clear that she was taking the time to smell the roses .

It did leave me rather Speechless on Sunday : Taking the Time to Smell the Roses

That's a really neat picture, Hannah.  Beautiful flowers, and seeing your cat enjoy them too is so cute.

Hi Hannah- and you know what, you make an excellent point. We forget that pets are little furry human-creatures!

Good morning, Hannah... what a lovely picture. Cleo is definitely a cat with refined taste. (But then, I knew that all along.!)

Good morning Hannah.

Maybe not only was Cleo taking time to smell the roses but also looking at the beauty Mother Nature provides to us for nothing.

You know Hannah, when it's time to take a break to smell the roses, it's a good change of pace. Looks like Cleo knew it was time!

One of the fun things I do is watching our poodle sniff things on a walk and wondering what entices him. Is it a dog or a cat smell maybe?

What a wonderful photo and such lovely roses as well.

Debe Maxwell, CRS  She is smelling the roses . Cleo loves flowers .Whenever I bring flowers into the house she runs over to check them out and give them a sniff - she loves helping me tend to my Orchids

Nina Hollander  You are the lady that knows the feline breed for sure .

James Dray Today Cleo is looking outside as the air conditioner is off and she gets to look at nature in a different light ..She is very content and happy

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400  We need to take a lesson from Cleo and take the time to smell the roses before Mother Nature takes them away . Great observation

Gabe Sanders  you are so right  Stop and smell them as their beauty and fragrance is so pleasant . It does not take too much of our time

Sheila Anderson  amazing isn't it that our pets enjoy flowers as much as we do

Thank you for joing the conversation

Joe Pryor  Cleo definitely likes the smell of flowers . It is really funny to watch her I am told some cats eat flowers . Not Cleo she smells them but she is a house cat

Nick & Trudy Vandekar, 610-203-4543  Yes they are lovely flower bouquet had to separate them into two vases as Cleo patiently watched

I assume they smell more amazing to them then to us Hannah Williams

Charlotte does the same thing, Hannah! She is obsessed with checking out the flowers in the large vase (that I typically keep filled - whether someone gave them to me or I bought them at the farmers market)! She rubs all over them too - does Cleo do that?

Happy Monday, Hannah!

Hannah, that was a wonderful photo of Cleo smelling the roses.

Jim Cheney  I never thought of it that way .You are probably right especially as she is a spoiled indoor cat

Debe Maxwell, CRS  Cleo only smells them she never touches them ..She does love when I bring flowers home .

Rebecca Gaujot  She is a ham and loves when I take her picture . This was a great shot if I do say so myself ..

That's a great photo of Cleo and the roses, Hannah. But if it were my cat, I would know she was getting ready to take a nibble of those leaves!! LOL
