Snow Storm Outside but Spring Inside in Philadelpia Pa

2018 snow

Cars are stuck roads are closed trees are falling .Power lines are down many people are without power .Visibility is very poor just about what they call a white out here in Philly .5 miles . Airport and schools thankfully closed as did our office . There is also lighting and thunder-snow .

So far snow fall somewhere between 8-10 inches .It is a heavy snow and temperatures will go well below freezing tonight . I am so thankful I live in a condo where we have a wonderful or shall I say the best snow removal company  .Four Seasons the best one can ever ask for .

I did stop and purchase  two dozen pink roses for inside yesterday . What a pleasure the roses filled two vases  . I had to laugh when I talked to my sister . She called from her home in Florida to check on me as she always does when we have a storm  .

2018 pink roses

I told my sister the roses looked so beautiful they looked fake We both had a good laugh . They do make fake flowers so beautiful these days that sometimes they look nicer then real flowers . I am thankful for their Springtime beauty and fragrance they bring inside .

There may be a winter snow storm outside .

Inside I appreciate the beauty of the roses .

They remind me Spring is not far away in Philadelphia Pa

Hannah, the flowers are beautiful ... and a great way to brighten the inside when the outside is so cold with so much snow.

I so love Philly but hate dealing with the snow.  It is beautiful when it falls and is fresh, you are fortunate you have a great snow removal plan.  Stay warm and post more photos!

Posted by Christine OShea (Christine E O'Shea Real Estate Broker) 4 months ago

Kathleen Daniels  When The weather outside is frightful flowers are a great way to keep the inside delightful . Tomorrow the smell of banana bread will fill the condo .

Christine OShea  This weekend we change the clocks . Winter is almost over . I have no plans to drive anywhere until the roads are cleared .  I do not mind a few snow storms as long as I do not have to go out in them or lose power .

Thank you both for your kind thoughts

Kathy Streib  Knowing it was going to be a snow storm I stopped at my favorite flower junction.  The holidays are over and you can really get flowers at a real bargain . Really does brighten up the days when your stuck in . Like when you get your Hurricanes .

I have some faded ones I need to toss out  ... I made them last as long as I could.  Can't wait for the ones in my yard to start blooming.  Glad you have some beautiful spring inside and hopefully we'll both get spring outside soon.
