Local posts make your phone ring

Neighborhood posts have what is known as a "long-tail," they are evergreen and show up time and again when anyone is on the Internet looking for homes to purchase, including what schools that children would attend, what shops are nearby, HOA information, etc.

Every time I write a neighborhood post, I ALWAYS get calls. It doesn't get much better than that!

So my challenge is to write Neighborhood Posts.

Neighborhood graphic

You’ll receive 750 points per entry, with a limit of 1 per week, or 4 total. Each post should contain a minimum of 250 words and describe the neighborhood amenities, school info, general location, area surroundings, etc. The post must also include at least ONE graphic.

Include a link to active sales in the neighborhood in all 4 posts, leading prospects to your website and receive 500 bonus points! (500 is a one-time deal - link to your website or IDX, not 500 per post. However the link has to be in ALL 4 posts to receive the 500 point bonus).

If you are a lender, inspector, stager or anything other than a real estate agent or broker, link the home search to one of your local agents to support them - a win-win for you! For this challenge, submit WEEKLY ENTRIES in a COMMENT BELOW!

ONE ENTRY PER WEEK ONLY!

These type posts are gold mines and will pay off for years to come. I worked a buyer today as a result of neighborhood posts from a couple of years ago.

Hannah, I would love to read a post about some outlets at Philadelphia Mills.

Hi Hannah... I've done these over time ad nauseam with everything suggested... still waiting for a call. Possibly the issue is not the neighborhood report, but posting it in Active Rain... my plan is to start doing these on my website instead.
