I recently read a post by Liz and Bill Spear called Eyes Wide Open . It made me think so I checked and canceled a membership I had that was not bringing me any benefit's . Money that was not well spent and could be put to better use .
When doing so I was told I would be getting a call and email to see why I was leaving. I would get a personal call to see what it would take to get me to stay . Well no call or email but I did get an email saying they tried to charge my credit card (which thankfully thanks to Holiday shopping was denied ) would I like to use another credit card card? I quickly responded that I had canceled their service .
I was then instructed that they would send me an email with a link . It would only be good for 15 minutes to cancel . I did this and typed in cancel . Well typing in cancel was not good enough . It had to be typed all in caps- which I did . I do not know about you but having to type it all in caps did make me laugh and really made me know I made the right decision to cancel
With my eyes wide open ....
