Speechless Sunday: Beautiful Flower on Warm Sunny Day

helpfulhannahs.com

Saw this beautiful flower today and it made me smile. It is a beautiful warm sunny day in NE Philadelphia. Doing a Pre-Settlement walkthrough and stopped to take this picture. Hope you enjoy this picture as much as I do. It left me rather Speechless this Sunday, after all, I have not seen flowers blooming for quite a while.

Ah, hydrangeas!  We had a row of them on the side of the house I grew up in!  They remind me of mama's garden in summer!

Always loved these Ron and Alexandra Seigel  for some reason always called them snowballs

Hello, Myrl Jeffcoat,  I planted these at the last condo I lived in. Funny when I was growing up one of our neighbors had a big beautiful bush. I do not think I have ever saw another one like it or I was just so small  it looked so larger

Hi Hannah Williams - The first blooms always seem to stop you in your tracks.  Very nice catch!

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® I must admit these were sitting in a pot outside. Not planted yet. Still a little cool for these flowers to bloom so full

That's a beautiful photo, Hannah. We alway enjoyed the hydrangeas backs in New England - they are not common here.  Happy Spring and wishing you warmer weather, green grass, and lots of flowers and blooming trees.

You are so sweet  Jeff Dowler, CRS  I love the beauty of Spring flowers and trees but I have a dreadful fear they are going to make me sneeze.   So very interesting about the hydrangeas I thought they grew everywhere.  Hope you are having a beautiful day. These days seem to pass so quickly

Happy Sunday

Hello Dorie Dillard CRS GRI ABR

I don't know where I picked up that name most likely from my sister. She taught me so much as a kid. She was ten years my senior and always looked out for me. She would be so upset if she read this and I gave away her age  Flowers are so beautiful aren't they?

Thank you for the comment

Hannah- I can see why you stopped! I remember our former neighbor in Florida would have her friends bring her Hydrangeas when they visited so she could dry them.

A potted hydrangea blooming now makes sense--I was wondering about a sunny south wall, sheltered from wind, etc.

Lottie Kendall Yes we have great flowers shops here I almost purchased some last week at Produce Junction but the last time I did they did not last for me. The condo I am in now does not allow for planting for my unit. Thus I stick to orchids and bromeliads for now  plus fresh cut
