There are so many things to be thankful for in this world. I am thankful to wake up every morning and to go to sleep each night. Thankful for a warm and cozy bed to snuggle into and dream the night away
Thankful to have been in Selling Real Estate since 1985. Going through all the different changing markets. I have made wonderful relationships along the way. Most of all I had the privilege to be introduced to clients that entrusted me to either sell their house or find them a house. These experiences have been full of fun and learning experiences. Either way, many of my clients have become repeat business and friends. I have been blessed.
Thinking back I remember having to pay my dues and sit to do what is called opportunity time or floor time. Where you sit in the office and answer the phones when calls come in from signs and ads. You then would talk to people and hopefully convert them into your clients. You may have the chance to do this a few times a week for a few hours a day. It would really depend on the size of your office on how often or how long you would sit floor time
Thankful to have had a good team to work with. A mortgage banker who knew their stuff. They would also need to be assessable to be sure your clients were qualified to purchase a home. You also needed to check their credit. That is essential and extremely important.
To all my clients I appreciate you more than words can say
Thank you for all the trust you have bestowed on me
- You are the heart of my Real Estate business
- You come back to me each time you are ready to buy or sell
- You call me for advice which I am proud to give
- You send your family and friends to me
- You make me smile every time I hear your voice on the phone
Then there are the phone calls that say you may not remember me but: Of course, I do every one of my clients -I am truly blessed
Thank you one and all I appreciate every minute we spent together and looking forward to many more phone calls, sales, and good times together
Please stay well this year and together we will fight this dreadful COVID19
This is my entry to Jeff Dowler, CRS November Challenge
Hi there, Hannah Williams Last night, around 2:00 AM, I couldnt stop my mind from wandering. In meditation, the thoughts kept creeping back in - finally I started focusing on all of the things I'm grateful for in life. Guess what? I fell back to sleep. It works! Counting blessings works better than counting sheep. :) Happy Sunday to you. D
Hannah,
What a beautiful heartfelt post. I enjoyed reading it. Wishing you a beautiful Sunday. A
Hi Hannah Williams - The video was really informative. The science of Gratitude pays dividends! I still do Floor Time a couple of times a month. I am sure that your clients are very loyal and trust your sound judgment.
Hi Hannah... great post, great little video. I get those calls, too, that start with a past client "reintroducing" themselves to me. Since I touch all my past clients at least two dozen times a year in various ways, it's always fascinating to me that they think I don't remember them.
Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD We have so much to be grateful for and if we focus on the positive instead of the negative we will enjoy life and those around us so much more

Hello Hannah - I, too, remember floor or opportunity time. It seemed like so many years ago(because it was, haha) but those days are a fond memory of which there are many in real estate.
